Custom Printed Vinyl Stickers and Labels in any Shape and Size

Materials

As the name suggests the majority of our stickers are made of vinyl and mounted on a waxed backing paper. Vinyl stickers and labels are:

• waterproof
• fade resistant, particularly when printed with our high quality inks
• low maintenance and washable, especially when laminated
• strong and tear resistant
• flexible and easy to install on curved surfaces
• white or clear

Adhesive Strengths

Laser Sharp carries pressure sensitive sticker vinyls with a broad range of adhesive strengths. From low to high:

• static window cling – no adhesive product that statically clings to glass surfaces. Can be repositioned and removed/reused when stored on backing paper.
• low tack – removable sticker that is easy to install and reposition as needed without leaving residue.
• standard, permanent adhesive
• high tack – extra sticky for rough surfaces. Removal leaves residue and may damage the surface.
• ultra tack – super sticky and difficult to remove

All vinyl stickers and labels need time for adhesives to achieve full strength. This means that any of the adhesive strengths can be more easily removed in the first few minutes or hours. At the same time, any sticker left in place for months or years will become more difficult to remove.

Vinyl Sticker Sizes

Our online order form for vinyl stickers accommodates sizes starting at .125″ (1/8″) to 48″ in height and 96″ width.

Print and Cut Capabilities

Vinyl stickers are cut to any shape after printing. The cut is not restricted to the border of the vinyl sticker, so internal cuts in your design can be accommodated.

For instance, if you are creating a bottle label and want to include a small window in the label to show the colour of the product inside.

Lamination

We offer premium laminates for vinyl sticker printing. The laminate protects the inks and sticker surface, extending the life and beauty of the sticker.

Standard laminates give a gloss or matte finish, or our specialty no-slip laminate gives an ultra tough, textured surface that is ideal for floor stickers or to create a rugged look.

Sticker Sheets or Individual Stickers

Choose to have all or several of your stickers grouped on manageable-sized sheets or as individual stickers each on their own backing. Our default option for individual stickers is a square backing paper.

If you want each sticker to have the backing paper also contoured to the shape of the sticker, this option is also available in the drop down list.

By far our most popular media for vinyl sticker and label printing is the standard gloss with permanent adhesive. 

Customers wanting the most robust option generally go with high or ultra tack vinyl stickers and laminate them.  The product is completely washable and has been used to stick to wood, brick, heavy duty machines, and even a submarine.  

These higher tack materials beau up well to very high and low temperatures, though we can’t guarantee they will survive the dishwasher.

Vector format – pdf, eps, svg – provide superior results for printing on vinyl stickers, particularly with super small content.  A cut line needs to be added to the artwork.  For square or rectangular designs, rounded corners are recommended.  We are happy to add the cut line for you.
