Cut vinyl lettering can be found almost everywhere. It is the vinyl word stickers that you see on windows, vehicles, signs, doors – anywhere clean, weatherproof signage is needed. Unlike stickers, cut vinyl lettering has no background. You get just the letters, on backing paper, with transfer tape to keep everything in place until it is applied. The vinyl has a permanent adhesive and comes in a variety of colours.
To order cut vinyl lettering, select the height of the lettering you want. Then, type your text and get instant pricing. To ensure that your lettering is cut to the correct specifications, we ask for a bit more information:
- Number of full letter sets: This is the number of copies you want. For instance, if you are ordering NSC numbers for a truck, you will typically want 2 copies, one for each side of the truck. so you would put a 2 here – each NSC number is one full letter set.
- Colour: the colour of the vinyl you would like to use. Please note that contrast is important for visibility. In other words, put dark coloured lettering on a light coloured surface. For windows, white is most visible from a distance.
- Width of Space Where Lettering Will Be Applied: some fonts take up more space than others. For instance, the words “LASER SHARP PRINTING” in Arial font, 2″ tall, is 32″ in length. In Arial Narrow font, it is only 26″ long. We want to make your letters the height you need them to be, but also the correct length. Please tell us how much space you have available for length.
- Cut Setup: If you plan to put the lettering on glass, you can apply it on the inside or on the outside. If you want to put it on the inside of the window, we need to mirror it so it will be readable from outside.
These letters are for self-installation only. We are not able to offer onsite installation.
