Poster Paper Sizes

Bulk posters are printed on maximum 13″ x 19″ press sheets and trimmed to size.  A half sheet yields letter sized (8.5″ x 11″) posters and a full sheet for 11″ x 17″ or 12″ x 18″.  Press sheets can be trimmed to fit your artwork.

Artwork can be resized or printed to fit your selected poster size.  If the artwork proportions are not correct for the paper size, any unintentional white space will be trimmed off. 

In other words, if you want letter sized artwork to be printed to fill a 12″ x 18″ sheet, white space left at the top and bottom of the page can be trimmed off to result in a poster that is approximately 11.75″ x 16″.

Please note that enlarging artwork to fit a page may result in print pixilation.  It is preferred to design your bulk poster artwork for the final size.

Coated, Uncoated, or Synthetic Polyester Poster Paper

Better than Lamination

Due to the low cost, many customers love the 28lb or 100lb bulk poster options.  The print looks amazing even on the cheap poster paper options.

Synthetic paper may appear quite expensive, but it is actually an affordable alternative to pouch lamination.  In addition, they can be ready to go in a fraction of the time.

For posters up to 12″ x 18″, bulk posters are much more cost effective than large format posters.

For best results, bulk poster artwork should be created in the correct size and proportions for the size selected.  Pdf files are preferred, saved at 300 dpi, though other image files can be used.

High resolution or vector files can easily be resized to fit on the press sheet if necessary.  Some trimming may be required.

Poster Placement in Vancouver

The City of Vancouver has rules for the placement of posters on City property.  Chances are good that most cities have similar rules.

Keep your posters from being taken down!  Make sure to check the rules for your city, school, or workplace as part of your marketing plan.
